Dogs and Puppies
BRODY: 1 year old male neutered Lab/Pointer mix. He was picked up by Animal Control in the Houston Area. Brody is crate trained, housebroken, great with cats, other dogs and children. He is current on shots through Feb. 2011, microchipped, and is on a flea and heartworm preventative. Brody is most content laying on the bed and watching television. DIXIE MAE: 8 year old German Shepherd mix who is a very loyal dog. She is well trained with the basic commands and anxious to please.She needs an adult only home with an experienced dog person. She is very cuddly and loves to get and give attention and love. She loves to be outside. She loves to play soccer by herself while holding another ball in her mouth. Current owner has a new baby and can not provide the attention this dog needs. HOLLY- 6 month old female American Staffordshire Terrier. Holly was found by a compassionate family Christmas EVE 2009 walking on three legs. X-rays showed that her hip was broken and it was already beginning to heal. Surgery was done to repair the break so that now Holly can walk like any puppy! She is great with dogs, cats and children and is crate trained, spayed and shots current through December 2010. Holly's hip is healing beautifully and is now ready to move on from her foster home to a "Forever Home" MAXINE: 5 year old female lab/shepherd mix. Maxine was brought to a local shelter as a stray and was to be euthanized; however, Pet Search recognized the necessity to save this sweet girl and give her another chance! She is housebroken, crate trained and great with other animals as well as children. SAM: An incredibly sweet 1 year old male shepherd bassett hound mix. He was abandoned in the Washington area. Sam is neutered, shots current, microchipped, housebroken and crate trained. He is great with dogs, cats and children. Because of is unusual mixture, he does catch the attention of everyone since his head is the size of a shepherd and his body and legs are definitely bassett! SCRAPPY: 1 year old male boxer/pitbull mix. Relinquished by owner because of his high energy level. Scrappy is housebroken and crate trained, although he has spent most of his short life in a crate. He was raised with children and is great with other dogs and with cats (which he likes to chase). TOOTSIE:1 year old female beagle/bassett mix. Tootsie was abandoned and brought to Pet Search by a family who found her but was unable to provide for her in the proper way. Tootsie is housebroken, crate trained, great with other animals and children. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. She is very loving and playful.

AMIE: 2 -3 year old female DSH tortie abandoned at the Washington County Faigrounds. Very gentle and quiet. Would be a great cat for an older person or a quiet house.
CANDYE: 8 month old female DSH classic tabby. Abandoned in a colony maintained by Pet Search. Very sweet, playful...has a cute "feisty" attitude! Great with dogs and cats. CARLTON: 5 month old male DLH orange tabby. Carlton was born in an abandoned building in Wheeling. He is very playful and great with other animals. CEZANNE: 3 year old DSH male all white cat. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets. CONNIE: 1 year old female DSH ginger tabby (Very pretty!) Abandoned in the Meadowlands. Connie was brought to Pet Search with her two daughters, who are in the process of becoming socialized. CONNOR: 5 month old male DSH kitten. Found in a box with littermates at a rest area. Extremely lovable and very outgoing.
DIOR: 1 year old male DSH buff cat. Abandoned in a colony maintained by Pet Search. Dior is very gentle and quiet...he would enjoy a home with an older couple or a single person. DOLCHE: Adult female DSH blue and white. Dolche was relinquished by her elderly owner. She is a very large girl, weighing in at 22 pounds! She is very sweet, gentle and is fine with dogs and with other cats. She is spayed, FeLv/FIV negative and shots are current. She has always been a indoor cat. DUNNER: 2 years old, female DSH classic tabby. Donna was abandoned by her former owners when they moved from a mobile home park in Washington. She is an indoor cat, FeLv/FIV negative, spayed, shots current through September 2010 and is wonderful with other cats.
LUCKY, TEDDY AND TUX: Littermates born May 2009 to a stray mother. Very sweet and gentle. Have been living in foster care with other cats, a dog and 4 children.
GLORY: 1 year old female DSH tuxedo. Glory was dropped off pregnant at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Five kittens were born at the fairgrounds, all but one have been placed (Morgan). Extremely friendly and very gentle. Glory does not like dogs. HAVANNAH: 1 year old DSH female black & white. Abandoned in the West End of Washington. Brought into the Pet Search program with her 3 daughters. All the kids have found new homes.
HEIDI: 2 year old female tortoiseshell. Abandoned at one of the colonies maintained in Washington by Pet Search. She is affectionate, loves to be held and brushed. Great with dogs, cats and children. JAKE- 2-3 year old male DSH orange tabby. Abandoned in McMurray. Jake has a very strong personality and would prefer to be an only cat. KACI: 1 year old female DSH calico. Abandoned at the Washington Animal Hospital with her daughter Kayleigh.. (Kayleigh found a new home.) Kaci is very sweet and great with other pets
KEIRA: 8 month old female DSH classic tabby. Keira was one of many kittens recently abandoned in a colony maintained by Pet Search. She is very laid back, affectionate and great with other animals. LITTLE BUDDY: One year old male DSH orange tabby. Lil Bud is neutered, FeLv/FIV negative, current on shots and is FRONT DECLAWED. He was abandoned in Washington in July 2009. Bud has been living with dogs and cats. He would love to be your next indoor kitty! MACKENZIE: Senior kitty (age between 10-12 years). Abandoned at the MAGGIE MAE: 2 year old female DSH. All shots are current (4/1/08); FeLv/FIV negative; spayed. Wants to give love and certainly loves to receive it! She loves catnip and uses her scratching post. Owner relocating and can not take cat. Contact Pam at 724.969.0880 MAGNOLIA: 1 year old female Silver tabby and white cat that was abandoned at one of the several colonies of cats maintained by Pet Search volunteers. Magnolia is FeLv/FIV negative, shots current through November 2010, spayed and stricytly an indoor cat. She is playful and gets along great with other cats and with dogs. MARGO: 1 year old female classic tabby. Abandoned at the MARTIN: 1 year old DSH male gray tabby and white. He is one of 6 kittens that were abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounnds in June of 2007. He is very sweet, a little skittish with new people. Wonderful with other cats and dogs.
MISTY: 1 1/2 year old female DLH tuxedo. Her owner put Misty and her three sons outside during the very cold weather in January. Fortunately, a compassionate neighbor rescued the group and brought them to Pet Search. The boys are all placed, but Misty is looking for a new home. MOE: 1 year old male DSH white with tabby markings. Brother to Spencer. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Great with dogs, cats and children. NALA: 6 month old female DSH orange tabby. Originally a stray as a small kitten, she was recently relinquished by her owners because their older cat no longer liked her. She is very affectionate and wonderful with both dogs and cats. She was raised with children.
PEANUT: 1 year old DSH classic tabby. Peanut is a SPECIAL NEEDS kitty, as he has a cataract on his left eye. He is extremely lovable and is very affectionate with dogs, cats and children. Peanut would be wonderful in any situation!
REKA: 2 year old female Siamese abandoned in Taylorstown. Her two boys were born under a deck (they do not look like mom). Reka needs a home that will love her and let her trust again. ROBBIE: 1 year old male DSH silver tabby. One of Jewell's six children that were abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Sweet guy! SCOOTER- 7 month old male DSH orange tabby, abandoned in Greene County. Scooter and brother Skipper took up residence in neighborhood looking for food where they were rescued by an animal lover who brought them to Pet Search. Scooter is FeLv/FIV negative, neutered, shots current through 2/11 and is microchipped. It is very evident that he has been raised with other cats and with dogs. Very Playful!!! SHADOW: 9 month old male DSH black cat. Abandoned in Washington. Very gentle cat. SKIPPER- - 7 month old male DSH black kitten , abandoned in Greene County. Skipper and brother Scooter took up residence in neighborhood looking for food where they were rescued by an animal lover who brought them to Pet Search. Skipper is FeLv/FIV negative, neutered, shots current through 2/11 and is microchipped. It is very evident that he has been raised with other cats and with dogs. Very Playful!!! SNOOPY: 2 year old male DSH black and white. FRONT DECLAWED. Snoopy was taken to a veterinary hospital to be euthanized because of flea allergies. Pet Search saw how sweet this boy was and decided to give him a flea treatment and a second chance! Snoopy is very gentle, but would love to be in a home with children that are not rough, but loving. SOCKS: 9 month old female DSH tuxedo. Abandoned in a colony maintained by Pet Search. Loves to purr in your ear! SPENCER: 1 year old male DSH white and tabby. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets. Would be a great cat for a family with children.
TAG: 2 year old neutered male DLH tuxedo cat abandoned in Imperial. Tag has a great "purr-sonality" and gets along wonderful with other cats and with dogs.
