Dogs and Puppies

ALLIE: 3 year old female terrier/poodle mix. Allie has been raised with other dogs, but would prefer to the be the only pet. She is housebroken. (direct placement)

BELLA: 8 month old female shepard mix. Bella was abandoned in Washington. Very playful, but can be protective. Great with dogs, cats and children.

BRADLEY: 3 year old tri-color 15 inch male beagle. Abandoned in Canonsburg. Bradley is incredibly sweet, great with dogs, cats and children. He is housebroken and crate trained. Bradley had surgery to remove a 6 inch stick wedged in the soft upper palette of his mouth.

CENA: 1 1/2 year old female coonhound. Great family pet. Housebroken. Family need to place due to time constraints. (direct placement)

DAPHNE: 3 year old female shepherd mix. Abandoned in Washington. Daphne has been abused and doesn't like anyone handling her around her neck. She is great with dogs and cats.

DUDLEY: 7 year old male lab mix found in Finleyville. Dudley had a very large growth on his chest which most was removed (and benign). Some of the tumor can not be removed because it is entwined in the chest muscle. Dudley is wonderful with dogs, cats and children. He would do wonderfully in a family with kids!

KARMA: 9 month old female Brittany spaniel mix. Karma was found in the middle of the road in Buffalo Township, Washington County. She is playful, great with dogs, cats and children. She is still a puppy, so crate training is a must!

KODIAK: 8 year old male lab mix. Kodiak was given up by his owners when unexpected tragedy struck their lives. Kodiak was boarded several months at a time over the period of a year until Pet Search was asked to take him. He is very gentle and great with dogs, cats and older children.

MADDOX: 8 month old AKC chocolate lab. Maddox is great with dogs, cats and children. Maddox has "omega esophagus" which requires him to stand when eating, so he can digest food easier without choking.

MOLLY: 1 1/2 year old female yellow lab/pitt mix. Molly was abandoned on a farm in Claysville. She is housebroken, crate trained and wonderful with dogs, cats and children.

PIERCE: 4 year old male collie mix. Placed by Pet Search as a puppy, Pierce was returned because the family was having a second child. Pierce is housebroken, crate trained, has obedience training and is wonderful with other dogs, cats and children. He would make a wonderful therapy dog!

SCRAPPY: 1 year old male boxer/pitbull mix. Relinquished by owner because of his high energy level. Scrappy is housebroken and crate trained, although he has spent most of his short life in a crate. He was raised with children and is great with other dogs and with cats (which he likes to chase).

SHEENA: 5 year old female AKC German Shepherd. Spayed, housebroken. Needs to be placed as only pet. Pet Search is helping owner with direct placement. Please call or e-mail Pet Search for owner's information.

SPIKE: 7 month old lab mix. Abandoned in Claysville. Spike loves children and would do very well in a family that has time to play with him.

Cats and Kittens

ALI: 2 year old female short hair tabby and white. Abandoned at the fairgrounds.

ANGEL: 7 month old female DSH white kitten with little grey smudge on her head. She was abandoned with her litter in a box in the state game lands in Washington County. Great with dogs, cats and children. Very affectionate.

ANGEL: 6 month old female DSH black. Abandoned at the Washington Cemetary and was found earing duck food. Very loving and playful.

ANNABELLE: Very sweet 5 year old female black cat. Annabelle has been in foster care since she was a kitten.

BASHFUL: 3 year old female DLH calico. Bashful was shifted from home to home (6 to be exact) before coming to Pet Search. She is very beautiful, but shy with people. Once she gets to know you, she is very sweet.

CEZANNE: 2 year old DSH male all white cat. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets.

COLETTE: 1 year old female DSH tabby and white. Abandoned in the West End of Washington. Brought into the Pet Search program with her four children. Her one son, Rocket is still looking for a home.

DONNA LEE: 1 year old female DSH classic tabby. She and her 6 kittens were abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds in the Fall of 2007. All of the kittens have found new homes, but Donna is still patiently waiting. She has a "manx" tail (not genetic) and is very lovable. Great with dogs, cats and children.

DYLAN: 3 year old male buff tabby. Dylan is very affectionate and loves to have his stomach and ears rubbed. Dylan has been in a foster home since he was six weeks old.

GARY: 2 year old male DSH tabby and white. Gary has been in foster care since he was 8 weeks old. He is gentle and quiet and would love to be a home with other cats.

GERTRUDE: 2 year old female DSH tortie. Gertrude was abandoned in Canton Township, Washington County. She is gentle and sweet.

HAVANNAH: 1 year old DSH female black & white. Abandoned in the West End of Washington. Brought into the Pet Search program with her 3 daughters. All the kids have found new homes.

HAYLEY: 1 year old female DSH classic tabby. Abandoned at Washington County Fairgrounds. Great with other cats and dogs. Very playful.

HOLLY: 3-4 year old female DLH Blue Persian mix. Holly is front declawed. She was abandoned in Bellsville. Very gentle and sweet.

INDIGO: 1 year old old female DSH black. Very laid back and sweet. Abandoned at fairgrounds.

KAYLEE: 2 year old female DSH tabby and white. Abandoned in Washington.

KISMIT: 1 year old DLH tabby and white. Abandoned in Canton Township. Very gentle. Great with dogs and cats. A little shy when meeting new people.

LEWIS and CLARK: 9 month old DSH brothers abandoned at the Washington County Fairground. Very affectionate.

LUCKY: 2 year old male DSH black and white. Abandoned in Washington Estates Mobile Home Park. Lucky received his name because he was one of several cats that were trapped in the mobile home park, but the others were not so lucky as they were positive for FeLv/FIV. Lucky is very sweet and playful

MAGENTA: 1 year old DSH female tuxedo cat abandoned in Washington. Magenta was pregnant when rescued and had 3 kittens in foster care. She is very gentle and would do well in any situation.

MAGGIE MAE: 2 year old female DSH. All shots are current (4/1/08); FeLv/FIV negative; spayed. Wants to give love and certainly loves to receive it! She loves catnip and uses her scratching post. Owner relocating and can not take cat. Contact Pam at 724.969.0880

MARTIN: 1 year old DSH male gray tabby and white. He is one of 6 kittens that were abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounnds in June of 2007. He is very sweet, a little skittish with new people. Wonderful with other cats and dogs.

MIDNIGHT: 1 year old male DMH black cat. Abandoned by his owners when they moved. Very loving and playful.

MIGUEL: 7 month old male DLH orange kitten. Miguel was a feral kitten living in a colony in Washington. He is gentle, getting used to people and loves dogs and other cats.

MILO: 3 year old male orange and white. Abandoned at the fairgrounds. Great cat.

NEO: 2 year old male DSH classic tabby. Very quiet and laid back. Great with dogs, cats & children.

OLIVIA: 1 year old female DLH tortie. Olivia was abandoned with her four children, who are all in new homes. She is most happy when she can be "in your face." Great with other pets.

ONYX: 7 month old female DSH black. Onyx is a polydactyl (has extra toes). She was abandoned along the road in Washington County. Very loving and great with children and other animals.

O'SHAUNECEY: 1 1/2 year old male DSH orange and white. "Shaunny" was abandoned by his owner. He is great with other cats. If you want a real sweetie of a kitty, then Shaunny is for you!

PILOT: 9 month old male DSH found under the hood of a Honda Pilot. Great kitten.

PRINCE: 1 year old male DLH gray and white. Prince (and sister Princess who has been placed) was scheduled to be euthanized at the Upper St. Clair Animal Control facilities when Pet Search volunteers were contacted to rescue him. He is great with other animals!

ROADIE: 1 year old male DSH all black cat. Roadie made himself comfortable by jumping into the open car door of a mall shopper. He was taken to a veterinarian where he was declared very healthy and turned over to Pet Search. Roadie is great with dogs, cats & children. He is become accustomed to being a strictly indoor kitty!

ROBERTO: 4 year old male DSH classic tabby. Roberto was rescued from a mobile home park in Eighty Four. He is extremely loving and quite dog-like in his play and his affection.

ROCKET: 8 week old DSH male all black kitten. Son to Colette. Raised in foster care. Great with dogs and other cats.

SOCRATES: 6 month old male DSH orange tabby. Socrates was taped inside a box and abandoned on the sidewalk of a Pet Search member. He is very sweet and gentle and would be great with a family that had other pets.

SPENCER: 1 year old male DSH white and tabby. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets. Would be a great cat for a family with children.

SUSIE Q: 9 month old female DSH black and white. Abandoned in McMurray. Susie Q needs a family that will give her alot of love and a chance to adjust to a new home.

TEEGAR LILY: 2 year old female DSH classic tabby. Teegar Lily was born to a feral mother and was trapped at the age of 8 weeks and socialized. She is very sweet.

TERRY: 2 year old male DLH black and gray. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets. Would be a great cat for a family with children! Because he is part Persian, he will require daily grooming.

TOBIAS: 1 year old male DLH white and tabby. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets. Would be a great cat for a family with children!

TRACI: 1 year old female DSH tabby calico. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Independent (as most calico cats are), but very sweet and great with dogs and cats.

TOBY, TRISTON AND TINKERBELL: Littermates; 2 year old males and female .DSH.Toby is full of energy and would love to play with children. Triston is very affectionate and loves to groom you. Tinkerbell is very quiet and loves to sit on your lap.

ZELDA: 8 month old female DSH gray and white. Abandoned at the fairgrounds.

ZOIE: 9 month old female DSH black and white. Owner unable to keep. Very sweet.
