Dogs and Puppies

BEKKA: 2 year old female spayed Walker Coonhound. . Bekka was brought to Pet Search via pet transport from Carroll County Dog Pound in Ohio the day she was scheduled to be gassed. She appears to be a little shy until she gets to know you...then watch out! Tons of kisses!

Bekka has a wonderful personality and is great with dogs and cats. Crate trained and housebroken.

BELLA: 9 month old spayed female chocolate lab/husky mix. Owner is ill and unable to care for her. Bella is extremely playfull, loving, and very gentle. Housebroken and crate trained. She is wonderful with cats and other dogs. Bella would be a great dog for a family with children.

BUDDY: 1 year old neutered male St. Bernard mix. Owner relinquishment due to time and space. Buddy is a great dog with a wonderful personality! He is housebroken, crate trained and great with dogs, cats and children.

DAISY MAE: 5 month old spayed female coonhound. Owner joined military. Daisy is housebroken, crate trained, great with dogs and cats, but not with small children. Children over the age of 10 would love to play with her!

DIXIE MAE: 8 year old German Shepherd mix who is a very loyal dog. She is well trained with the basic commands and anxious to please.She needs an adult only home with an experienced dog person. She is very cuddly and loves to get and give attention and love. She loves to be outside. She loves to play soccer by herself while holding another ball in her mouth. Current owner has a new baby and can not provide the attention this dog needs.

HOLLY- 6 month old female American Staffordshire Terrier. Holly was found by a compassionate family Christmas EVE 2009 walking on three legs. X-rays showed that her hip was broken and it was already beginning to heal. Surgery was done to repair the break so that now Holly can walk like any puppy! She is great with dogs, cats and children and is crate trained, spayed and shots current through December 2010. Holly's hip is healing beautifully and is now ready to move on from her foster home to a "Forever Home"

MOLLIE: 2 year old female spaniel mix. Found with sister Millie in the middle of a frozen lake in Union township. Very playful, great with dogs, likes to chase cats in play. Spayed, shots current, housebroken and crate trained. Would be a great dog for a family. Approximately 30 pounds.

REBA: 2 year old spayed female bloodhound/shepherd mix. Reba was brought to Pet Search via pet transport from Carroll County Dog Pound in Ohio the day she was scheduled to be gassed. She has a wonderful personality and is great with dogs and cats. Reba would love to have a family that would give her tons of attention. Crate trained and housebroken.

SCRAPPY: 3 year old male pitbull/boxer mix. Scrappy was brought to Pet Search when his owner abandoned him. He is full of energy and loves to play. Scrappy does will with smaller dogs, preferably female dogs. Although Scrappy gets along fine with cats, he would prefer to be an only pet.

ALI: 2 year old female short hair tabby and white.
Abandoned at the fairgrounds.

AMIE: 2 -3 year old female DSH tortie abandoned at the Washington County Faigrounds. Very gentle and quiet. Would be a great cat for an older person or a quiet house.

ANNABELLE: Very sweet 5 year old female black cat. Annabelle has been in foster care since she was a kitten.

BELINDA: 2 year old female DSH tortie. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very sweet. Great with dogs.

BONNIE: 1 year old spayed female DSH classic tabby. Sarah and her two kittens were brought to Pet Search to prevent the owner from drowning them. Sarah is very loving and very laid back. She would be a wonderful addition to any family!

CANDYE: 8 month old female DSH classic tabby. Abandoned in a colony maintained by Pet Search. Very sweet, playful...has a cute "feisty" attitude! Great with dogs and cats.

CEZANNE: 3 year old DSH male all white cat. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets.

CONNIE: 1 year old female DSH ginger tabby (Very pretty!) Abandoned in the Meadowlands. Connie was brought to Pet Search with her two daughters, who are in the process of becoming socialized.

ENRIQUE: 1 year old male neutered tuxedo cat. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. He is litter trained, great with dogs, cats and children. A very low-profile type of cat-very quiet and gentle.

LUCKY, TEDDY AND TUX: Littermates born May 2009 to a stray mother. Very sweet and gentle. Have been living in foster care with other cats, a dog and 4 children.

FEMALE KITTENS: 12 week old DSH spayed females. Russian Blue. Born in foster care. Very sweet.

GARY: 2 year old male DSH tabby and white. Gary has been in foster care since he was 8 weeks old. He is gentle and quiet and would love to be a home with other cats.

GLORY: 1 year old female DSH tuxedo. Glory was dropped off pregnant at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Five kittens were born at the fairgrounds, all but one have been placed (Morgan). Extremely friendly and very gentle. Glory does not like dogs.

GRAYSON: 7 month old neutered male DLH gray and white kitten. Grayson and his mother and sister were abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. He is great with other cats, dogs and loves to be brushed.

HARLEY: 2 year old male neutered DSH tabby and white cat. Adopted from Pet Search as a 7 week old kitten and recently returned as owner was unable to continue his care. Brother to Rutuu... he would like to stay with his brother if possible.

RUTUU: 2 year old male neutered DSH tabby and white cat. Adopted from Pet Search as a 7 week old kitten and recently returned as owner was unable to continue his care. Brother to Harley... he would like to stay with his brother if possible.

HAVANNAH: 1 year old DSH female black & white. Abandoned in the West End of Washington. Brought into the Pet Search program with her 3 daughters. All the kids have found new homes.

JAKE- 2-3 year old male DSH orange tabby. Abandoned in McMurray. Jake has a very strong personality and would prefer to be an only cat.

KAYLEE: 2 year old female DSH tabby and white. Abandoned in Washington.

KEIRA: 8 month old female DSH classic tabby. Keira was one of many kittens recently abandoned in a colony maintained by Pet Search. She is very laid back, affectionate and great with other animals.

KITTENS: 7 week old DMH Persian mix kittens- male and female. Born outside to feral parents, but are very socialized. Felv/FIV negative and first shots. Spaying/neutering included in adoption donation.

LOUIE: 9 month old male DLH black cat. Beautiful!!! Owner relinquishment due to relocation. Extremely affectionate! FeLv/Fiv negative, shots current, neutered. Indoor cat. Great with other cats and with dogs. Very entertaining! Would be a wonderful cat for a family with young children.

MACKENZIE: Senior kitty (age between 10-12 years). Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. When Pet Search found Mackenzie, she was almost dead from starvation because she was so afraid to come out of hiding. (obviously someone's house cat!). She is unusually two-toned: long hair Russian Blue in the front; chocolate in the back! Very loving! Great with other pets.

MAGGIE MAE: 2 year old female DSH. All shots are current (4/1/08); FeLv/FIV negative; spayed. Wants to give love and certainly loves to receive it! She loves catnip and uses her scratching post. Owner relocating and can not take cat. Contact Pam at 724.969.0880

MAGNOLIA: 1 year old female Silver tabby and white cat that was abandoned at one of the several colonies of cats maintained by Pet Search volunteers. Magnolia is FeLv/FIV negative, shots current through November 2010, spayed and stricytly an indoor cat. She is playful and gets along great with other cats and with dogs.

MALIA: 1 year old female DSH blue cat. Abandoned in Washington. Extremely affectionate! FeLv/Fiv negative, shots current, spayed. Indoor cat. Great with other cats and with dogs. Would be a wonderful family cat.

MAMMA KITTY:- 2 year old DSH tabby and white female cat. Relinquished by owner pregnant and with three older kittens. Very friendly, great with dogs and cats. Shots current, spayed, indoor only cat. She is a larger girl, so she can take "abuse" from small children.

MARGARET: Beautiful DSH 1 year old spayed female tortie. Margaret was brought to Pet Search days before she delivered her kittens. All the kittens now have homes. Margaret is very gentle, sweet and great with dogs and cats.

MARGO: 1 year old female classic tabby. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

MARLEY: 1 1/2 year old male DSH black kitten. Abandoned in a mobile home park in Washington.

MARTIN: 1 year old DSH male gray tabby and white. He is one of 6 kittens that were abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounnds in June of 2007. He is very sweet, a little skittish with new people. Wonderful with other cats and dogs.

MARY JANE AND THURGOOD: 4 year old brother and sister. FRONT DECLAWED. Mary Jane is a beautiful DLH tortie; Thurgood is a DSH ginger tabby. Both are altered and have always been inside cats. Owner relinquishment. Mary Jane and Thurgood must be adopted together.

MIDNIGHT: 2 year old male DMH black cat. Abandoned by his owners when they moved. Very loving and playful.

MISTY: 1 1/2 year old female DLH tuxedo. Her owner put Misty and her three sons outside during the very cold weather in January. Fortunately, a compassionate neighbor rescued the group and brought them to Pet Search. The boys are all placed, but Misty is looking for a new home.

MOE: 1 year old male DSH white with tabby markings. Brother to Spencer. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Great with dogs, cats and children.

MOMMA KITTY: 2 year old spayed female DLH Main Coon type. Very gentle and great with other animals and children. Brought to Pet Search as a stray with her kittens.

MOMMY KITTY: 2 year old spayed female DSH black and white cat. She was abandoned in an mobile home park with her kittens. She is very gentle, great with other pets and with children.

NOLE: 2 year old male DSH white with black cat. Abandoned in Claysville. Extremely affectionate! FeLv/Fiv negative, shots current, neutered. Indoor cat. Great with other cats and with dogs. Very entertaining! Would be a wonderful cat for a family with young children.

OLIVIA: 1 year old female DLH tortie. Olivia was abandoned with her four children, who are all in new homes. She is most happy when she can be "in your face." Great with other pets.

PEANUT: 1 year old DSH classic tabby. Peanut is a SPECIAL NEEDS kitty, as he has a cataract on his left eye. He is extremely lovable and is very affectionate with dogs, cats and children. Peanut would be wonderful in any situation!

PORT AND STARBOARD: 5 year old brother and sister. Both Port and Starboard and DSH tabby and white. Both are altered, very sweet, great with dogs, cats and children. Originally adopted from Pet Search as kittens, they were returned due to divorce. Port and Starboard would love to stay together!

ROBBIE: 1 year old male DSH silver tabby. One of Jewell's six children that were abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Sweet guy!

SCOOTER- 7 month old male DSH orange tabby, abandoned in Greene County. Scooter and brother Skipper took up residence in neighborhood looking for food where they were rescued by an animal lover who brought them to Pet Search. Scooter is FeLv/FIV negative, neutered, shots current through 2/11 and is microchipped. It is very evident that he has been raised with other cats and with dogs. Very Playful!!!

SHADOW: 9 month old male DSH black cat. Abandoned in Washington. Very gentle cat.

SNOWBALL: 2 year old male neutered DSH all white cat. Snowball was abandoned in a new home construction site. Cared for by the neighborhood, they wanted him to have a permanent loving home and so that he how he came to be with Pet Search. He is very sweet and gentle.

SKIPPER- - 7 month old male DSH black kitten , abandoned in Greene County. Skipper is FeLv/FIV negative, neutered, shots current through 2/11 and is microchipped. It is very evident that he has been raised with other cats and with dogs. Very Playful!!!

SPENCER: 1 year old male DSH white and tabby. Abandoned at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Very loving and great with other pets. Would be a great cat for a family with children.

SUSIE Q: 9 month old female DSH black and white. Abandoned in McMurray. Susie Q needs a family that will give her alot of love and a chance to adjust to a new home.

TAG: 2 year old neutered male DLH tuxedo cat abandoned in Imperial. Tag has a great "purr-sonality" and gets along wonderful with other cats and with dogs. He has been tested for FeLv/FIV, has shots current through Jan. 2011 and is microchipped. He would be a wonderful addition to any family!

TALISHA: 2 year old spayed female DSH tortie. Abandoned on a farm in Amity. Very sweet and gentle- great family cat!

ZIGGY: 1 1/2 year old male DSH black with white kitten. Abandoned in a mobile home park in Washington.
